Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, or designee, you will perform a variety of duties related to the care and clerical duties of the Clinical and Translational Research Center. You will participate in total patient care in the ambulatory setting, recognizing normal and abnormal signs and symptoms and life-threatening emergencies. You will act as a staff person in the office, assisting in patient care and maintaining a high standard of care in the clinic office. The Medical Assistant III also provides support for research activities including helping study coordinators to operationalize their trials in the CTRC. You will support front office activities such as scheduling, checking in patients, checking for prior authorizations, and answering phones. You will assist in maintaining a high standard of care in the CTRC. The Medical Assistant III must have a valid phlebotomy certification.

Salary Range: $28.06 – $37.02/Hourly
