Get to Know Your Team: BSA Harrington Cancer Center is a state-of-the-art, 48,000-square-foot facility with two new linear accelerators for radiation treatments, 24 patient exam rooms, 28 heated chemotherapy infusion chairs and three private infusion rooms for families. Responsibilities Performs clerical and clinical duties under the direction of a physician and or registered nurse. Clerical duties may include answering phones, ordering supplies and maintaining medical records. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs, collecting laboratory specimens to include point of care testing, obtaining patient medical histories, preparing patient for examination, and reviewing discharge instructions with patients and or their driver. Qualifications Job Requirements: Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA or equivalent); Current or Must be attained within three (3) months of hire Current BLS certification Previous job experience in delivering exceptional customer service Preferred Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Previous similar clinic experience Previous experience with EMR systems One year experience in physician’s practice setting
