roleEducationDiploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA EMT Paramedic or Medic Certification OR relative experience as outlined belowExperienceIn lieu of education requirement at least one year of experience in direct patient care acute or ambulatory space may be consideredExperienceRelevant experience or Medical Assistant externship in a busy medical office EPIC EMR experienceLicensure Certification RegistrationCertified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association AHA obtained within days of hire date or job transfer dateLanguage SkillsMust be able to read and understand oral and written instructions and effectively communicate information in English Bi lingual preferredKnowledge Skills and Ability Requirements bull Customer service skillsbull HIPAA compliancebull Ability to adhere to quality and safety standardsbull Ability to read and understand medical terminologybull Basic computer skillsbull Organizational skillsbull Demonstrated attention to detail in all aspects of workbull Ability to manage time and productivity without immediate supervisionbull Ability to work as part of a dynamic teambull Flexibility to
