Compensation (Pay): $21.43 to $31.07/per hour based on experience. There will be an additional 10% per diem lift captured in the hourly rate.

Job Summary: Provides patient care under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider. Schedules appointments and performs the necessary intake functions for arriving patients, assists in questions, directs telephone calls, and other patient service duties. Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of provider, patient and assigned area. The Medical Assistant contributes to the success of the clinic by ensuring the quality of care provided to the patient. We are searching for a Medical Assistant to work per diem shifts at our Convenient Care Center.
Expectations per diem employees:
Flexibility
Per diem employees are expected to be flexible with their schedules and availability, as they are hired on an as-needed basis. However, they are not guaranteed hours.Adaptability

Per diem employees do not have a regular schedule. Instead, they work the hours assigned or choose days available based on the needs of the center. Per diem employees must be able to cover at least 2 evening shifts from 5:30 - 8:00 PM (Monday-Friday), 2 Saturday shifts 9:00-5:00 PM and 1-2 regular shifts from 7:30 -6:00 PM per month.Shift Cancellations:
Per diem employees should notify their supervisors at least 24 hours in advance if they can't accept a shift. Frequent last-minute cancellations or no-shows can lead to removal from the per diem roster. If a per diem employee doesn’t pick up shifts for a span of 3 months, then this could result in a separation.
Qualifications:
Education, Certification, Licensure:
Registered/Certified Medical Assistant & Current CPR (BLS) Certification.
Work Experience:
Relevant healthcare experience preferred.
