Medical Assistant - Neurology Clinic

Medical Assistants are an important part of the care team who work closely with our licensed practitioners to provide care to our patients.  This role is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with exams.

 Typical job skills include:

Taking vital signs like pulse and blood pressure Updating medications, allergies and other information in patient’s medical records Performing some medical procedures, specimen collection and lab testing

Associate Medical Assistant

Required qualifications:

Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)

Preferred Qualifications: 

Coursework/Training - Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants or alternate training program.  6 months - Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment. 6 months - Previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR).

Associate Medical Assistant Salary Range, NE Washington: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07


Medical Assistant

Required qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire or,  Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. 6 months Healthcare experience 6 months Medical Assistant experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

Coursework/Training - Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam.

Medical Assistant Salary Range, NE Washington: Min: $18.50, Max: $28.27

 

Senior Medical Assistant

Required Qualifications: 

Coursework/Training - Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or,  Coursework/Training - Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or,  Coursework/Training - Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.  Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire,  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.  2 years - Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting. 2 years - Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion. 6 months - Working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years.

Preferred Qualifications: 

National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire. 

Senior Medical Assistant Salary Range, NE Washington: Min: $19.38 , Max: $30.23
