We are seeking a fulltime, experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team at our Northwest Diagnostic Clinic! 

 

Responsibilities

 

Greet patients and visitors in a pleasant mannerPrepare examination rooms for patients before and in between visitsAssist patients as needed with health questionnairesEscort patients to examination roomsInterviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients' chartsAssists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physicianClean and sterilize instrumentsSet up supplies in procedure roomMay be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysisCross-train to cover front desk when coverage is neededMay be required to float to other clinics as neededOther duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum of a High School Diploma, or equivalentAmerican Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hireMinimum of two (2) years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic settingBilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
