No Medical Assistant Certification or License required. 2 full weeks of paid training.\n

A Medical Assistant is responsible for providing treatment to the patients and creating a positive relationship with the patients. They will also have day to day lab operations that must be taken care of with knowledge and precision. The medical assistant Must be flexible with late hours, some weekends, friendly attitude, and enjoys interacting with providers and patients. Our medical Assistant needs to have computer skills. Our goal is to provide excellent care with exceptional patient encounters that starts with you!\n

Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be responsible for performing manual vitals and routine blood draws, as well as administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as requested by the provider. You will maintain lab equipment, document all lab results and quality controls, and either run labs in-house or prepare them for processing at another facility, ensuring proper labs are ordered for each patient. Additionally, you will manage weekly inventory, ordering, and communication tasks, and assist with front desk duties when needed. A strong work ethic, reliability, dependability, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team are essential qualities for this position.\n

Requirements\/Certifications\n\nPhysical proof of High School diploma or GED Required\nMedical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred.\nMust have a minimum of 3 months relevant work experience as a medical assistant or phlebotomist in a medical setting or documented completion of 180 extern hours.\n\n\nAbility to perform venipuncture and intramuscular\/subcutaneous injections, preferred.\n\n\nPass a criminal Background check.\nRequired Availability M 8a-5p, T 8a-7p, W 8a-1p, Th 7a-5p, F 8a-5p and up to 3 Saturdays a month 8a-12p (When working a Saturday, you will have a weekday off) \n\n
