**Job Description**
With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
The Cancer Center located at Pali Momi Medical Center is the first integrated Cancer Center serving Central and West O‘ahu. It is designed with the patient experience in mind, offering physician consultations, infusion therapy, cancer navigation services, laboratory services, and radiation oncology all under one roof. Our multidisciplinary specialized care teams are dedicated to treating specific types of cancer with the latest treatment options, and the highest quality, expert care in a safe, comfortable and caring environment.
As a Medical Assistant in our Multispecialty Clinic, you will form part of the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide caring, thorough health services to our patients and their families. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities to clients of all ages. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and attentive, with strong communications and patient care skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.

**Minimum Qualifications:** High school or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA). Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Must be able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period.
**Preferred Experience:** One (1) year back office medical assistant experience in an outpatient clinic, physician’s office, or related experience.
