Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our pediatric neurology department. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with pediatric patients and will support a team that manages 8 exam rooms, seeing around 30-50 patients per day. The role requires flexibility to handle both front and back office responsibilities, including check-in, rooming (vitals), and check-out. This position requires someone with strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work well with various personalities.

ResponsibilitiesFloat between front and back office responsibilitiesPerform check-in, rooming (including vitals), and check-out dutiesPrepare and maintain exam roomsPrepare charts and obtain reports and recordsDirect patient flow and ensure the smooth running of the clinical officeInteract directly with patients in a clinic settingObtain vital signs, conduct EKGs, complete phlebotomy, and verify medicationsPrepare for office hours by obtaining charts, scheduling tests, and preparing exam roomsEssential SkillsMedical Assistant with at least 2 years of experienceMA certificationExperience with EPICExperience working in PediatricsBLS certification
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
