Purpose of Job
The primary duty of the position is to provide administrative support for the medical team, while also ensuring efficient office operations and client satisfaction in a fast-paced work environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
+ Draw blood
+ Route incoming calls promptly and courteously, and efficiently record written messages to ensure optimal communication
+ Schedule results reviews and any additional follow-up for Nucleus Medical team, to include the compiling and printing of client reports
+ Manage and track specimen collection and diagnostic kits sent to clients both pre and post visit
+ Ownership of the last module of the Health Nucleus visit called “Experience and Expectations” (EE) where final wrap-up of the visit is conducted and post visit planning and coordination is initiated
+ Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
+ Establish, update and maintain departmental files, client records and documents (paper and electronic)
+ After hours and weekend support as assigned
+ Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Must have)
+ High School diploma
+ Current Medical Assistant License
+ 5+ years of phlebotomy experience
+ Phlebotomy Certification (CPT)
+ Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements
+ Familiarity with Electronic Heath Records Systems (such as NextGen)
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to adapt to different audience types
+ Demonstrated ability to work in a highly confidential environment and operate with the utmost discretion
+ Ability to build partnerships across the organization
+ Resourceful problem solver with careful attention to detail and consistent follow-through
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ Service-oriented approach with ability to discern customer preferences and anticipate customer needs
+ Ability to work independently and prioritize with minimal daily instruction.
+ Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
+ Comfort with Salesforce, WebEx, DocuSign, and Macintosh computers
Working Conditions
+ Open office environment
+ Global environment with multiple sites, which may require work beyond standard business hours
+ Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending and kneeling
+ Must be able to lift and transport at least 25 pounds
