Apply today to join a great team and receive a robust Totals Reward package!! **Responsibilities:** + Organize patient flow by checking schedules and escorting patients to exam/procedure rooms. Assist patients with walking, transfers, dressing, specimen collection, and preparation for exams as needed. Take patient history, vitals, and perform screenings per provider guidelines. Relay instructions to patients and families. + Send/receive patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA and other state/federal regulations. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times. + Prepare patient rooms and set up instruments and equipment following department protocols. Ensure rooms, instruments, and equipment are cleaned between visits to maintain infection control. Follow scheduled maintenance protocols and keep accurate records. + Manage inventory of medical supplies, restocking exam/procedure rooms as needed to ensure availability of necessary items. + Perform lab work including phlebotomy, EKGs, and level one labs. Assist with clinic procedures according to protocol, and document patient information accurately in medical records. + Answer incoming calls, provide pertinent patient information, and offer patient education as directed. Obtain lab, X-ray reports, hospital notes, and referrals as necessary. + Schedule patient appointments, verify insurance coverage and demographics, and ensure all required forms are completed. Prepare and manage patient charts to ensure accuracy and proper filing. + Under physician supervision, administer injectable medications and vaccines when appropriate, following established procedures and protocols. Required: + High school diploma or equivalent + Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology, examination, diagnostic and treatment room responsibilities **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
