Apply today to join a great team and receive a robust Totals Reward package!!** **Responsibilities:** + Check schedules and organize patient flow to ensure a smooth and efficient operation within the clinic. + Accompany patients to exam or procedure rooms, providing assistance as needed with walking, transfers, dressing, and specimen collection. + Collect patient information and history, take vital signs, and perform screenings according to provider guidelines, relaying instructions to patients and their families. + Send and receive patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations, ensuring confidentiality is maintained. + Prepare patient rooms and set up instruments and equipment according to department protocols, while also cleaning between patient visits to uphold infection control standards. + Manage the inventory of supplies by restocking exam and procedure rooms, ensuring all necessary materials are readily available. + Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and level one labs, assisting physicians with procedures and documenting patient information accurately in the medical record. + Answer calls, provide relevant information, and assist with patient education as directed, while also scheduling appointments and verifying insurance coverage and demographics.
