Job Title: Medical Assistant Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for rooming patients, assisting providers, running urine specimens, cleaning equipment, and possibly answering phones. This position is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities + Rooming patients and preparing them for their appointments + Assisting providers with medical procedures and patient care + Running urine specimens and processing lab tests + Cleaning and maintaining medical equipment + Answering phones and managing patient inquiries as needed Essential Qualifications + Proficiency in medical assisting + Medical Assistant Diploma or completion of a state-approved Emergency Medical Technician course + Eligibility for Medical Assistant Certification or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Work Environment This position is based in a urology clinic primarily located in St. Louis Park, with the possibility of floating to the Burnsville location as needed, likely only once a month. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm. Typically, training will be provided for 2-3 days. The clinic environment is professional, and you will be working with a team dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.
