Summary:This is an outstanding opportunity for a Medical Associate to join our world-class research team based in Austin. Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary safety contact for all study subjects during clinical trials.Provide flawless basic medical care within your scope of practice, addressing both emergent and non-emergent situations.Monitor and record Adverse Events (AEs), reviewing them meticulously to determine if it is safe for subjects to proceed with study procedures or dosing.Perform technical procedures, including blood collection, vital signs, and ECGs.Assess and address out-of-range values, intervening medically as necessary to ensure subject safety.Coordinate basic dosing procedures, such as oral, inhalation, and nasal.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent experience, with relevant formal academic or vocational qualifications.Certification or licensure as an EMT/LVN and American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.Proven knowledge and skills in basic life support and emergency medical care.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and potential emergency situations effectively.Join us in our ambitious mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
