Position Overview:  The Medical Biller, a key position in the Revenue Cycle, manages the claims process,      including accurate and timely claim creation, follow-up and correspondence with providers, insurance inquiries/correspondence. 

Position Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience with an Associate Degree or 10 + years’ experience with a HS Diploma, preferably in a large organization – preference to experience in non-profit agencyDirect working with NYS Medicaid billing systems and managed care portalsExperience with accounting systems used by complex organizations (experience with MIP a plus)Experience with MyEvolv, ECW or other systems capturing encounter information needed for billing essential preferredExcellent MS Office skills – particularly Excel
