Description This individual will be supporting an Accounts Receivable A/R team that will be growing in 2025. They will be: + Processing and reviewing 60-70 Claims a Day, this does not mean completing but working on the claim. + This will be mainly with the Payer, calling or emailing, or faxing them to get authorization of payment and figuring out why it hasn't been paid. + If they get an answer from the insurance company on what is missing, they will then take those steps. It may be following up with the doctor, clinic or patient for certain documents, more information, or confirmation of details. Then they will be reporting this back to the Payer. + They will be reviewing and processing all claims, holds, and denials. + They will be locked in one Payer, either Blue Cross Blue Shield or United Health Care. They will be the expert from that group. + Experience in Athena is highly preferred, or EPIC is a secondary option. + Experience in Women's Health or OBGYN is preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Processing 60-70 Claims a Day + OBGYN or Women's Health Experience + Athena or EPIC experience Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
