Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing codes, regulations, and payer requirements.
Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies.
Assist with patient inquiries and provide explanations of charges and insurance coverage.
Generate and review financial reports and statements to track billing performance and revenue.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Certification in medical billing and coding (CPC, CCS, or similar) preferred.
Knowledge of ophthalmology-specific billing codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and payer policies.
