Description Job Title: Medical Claims Specialist (Temp-to-Hire) Location: Oklahoma City, OK (100% Onsite) Pay: $19 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Duration: 90 days (Temp-to-Hire) Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Claims Specialist for a temp-to-hire position with our team in Oklahoma City, OK. This role requires strong knowledge of medical billing processes and the ability to handle claims efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both Medicaid and Medicare claims. Key Responsibilities: + Process and submit medical claims to insurance providers, including Medicaid and Medicare. + Review and verify accuracy of billing information before submission. + Resolve discrepancies or issues with claims, including appeals and denials. + Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations. + Communicate with insurance companies and healthcare providers to follow up on outstanding claims. + Ensure timely and accurate entry of claim information into the billing system. + Provide excellent customer service to patients and other stakeholders regarding billing inquiries. Requirements Qualifications: + Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in medical claims or medical billing. + Medicaid and Medicare experience required. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing claims. + Proficient in using medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite. + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
