Description 95% Remote Job! You only need to go to the office 2 times a month! Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with one of his Syracuse clients to help hire a Medical Billing Manager. This role has a lot of growth to it and is a newly created position. This organization has amazing benefits. As a Medical Billing Manager, your primary focus will be to lead and enhance the medical billing and revenue cycle processes in the organization. You will be managing a team, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, and working towards improving cash flow. Responsibilities: • Guide and support the medical billing team on procedures and resolution of problems • Supervise the submission of claims to insurance companies, ensuring timeliness and accuracy • Monitor the process of payments, denials, and adjustments • Ensure patient accounts are resolved and billed promptly • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations, including HIPAA • Stay informed on alterations in coding, billing, and insurance guidelines • Implement strategies to reduce outstanding balances and monitor accounts receivable • Analyze billing metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends and enhance processes • Collaborate with other departments to improve workflows and revenue cycle efficiency • Investigate and resolve escalated billing issues and disputes with patients or insurance providers • Work closely with coding teams to ensure accurate documentation and claim submissions • Prepare and present financial and operational reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for improving billing efficiency and profitability. Requirements • Medical billing experience is necessary. • Leadership experience is required. Must be a NYS resident.
