Medical Billing – Revenue Cycle – Mail Processor Location: On-Site, West Plains, MO Hourly Pay: $16 This position is bonus eligible Work Schedule: M-F 8:00am-4:30pm CST JOB SUMMARY The Medical Billing – Revenue Cycle - Mail Processor works within the Posting and Processing Team to ensure incoming mail is uploaded to the appropriate account and/or forwarded to the correct department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Open and sort incoming mail received from the post office. Ensure patient account number is present on each document. Utilize billing software to determine correct patient account number if missing. Scan and upload documents to document management program for retention and review. Process incoming electronic faxes. Assign and forward documents meant for other departments with accuracy. QUALIFICATIONS Required Experience: 6 months data entry experience with an emphasis on 10-key use Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Proficient in basic computer commands such as Copy, Cut, Paste, Select All Preferred Experience: 6 months working in a mail room setting Experience with Respond Billing / Sweet Experience with SharePoint Proficient in keyboard hot keys (e.g. Ctrl + C to Copy) Preferred Education: High school diploma GED Or significant, relevant work experience Why Choose Air Evac Lifeteam?
