Medical Billing – Revenue Cycle – Data Entry and Validation Team Lead Location: Remote or On-Site Hourly Pay: $19 This position is bonus eligible Work Schedule: 40 hrs/wk, Mo – Fr, 8am – 5pm CST Job Summary The Medical Billing Revenue Cycle Data Entry and Validation Team Lead oversees the Data Entry and Validation Team ensuring accounts are completed and followed up on in a timely manner. This team is responsible for applying charges to all accounts and working with hospitals their portals to identify demographics and insurance information. The Team Lead works with the Supervisor and Manager to identify ways to improve team processes and move accounts to the billing floor faster. Essential Functions/Duties Train billing processes in a remote worker atmosphere. Allocate process and resources to ensure accounts are worked in a timely manner. Gather, analyze, and identify billing and/or follow-up problems recommending corrective actions and procedural changes. Monitor goals and motivate employees to foster high performing teams. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, giving presentations as needed. Qualifications Required Experience: 1+ years in a call center environment 1+ years of admissions experience or equivalent education 6 months previous training or leadership experience Proficient in Word, Excel, and Office 365 Experience with downloading documents from websites and accessing documents downloaded Preferred Experience: Knowledge of data entry and validation processes Experience with problem solving and timely decisions Ability to drive results and improve processes Experience with meeting deadlines with limited supervision Preferred Education: High school diploma GED Or significant, relevant work experience Why Choose Air Evac Lifeteam?
