Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. Working within the healthcare industry, the selected candidate will be expected to handle various tasks related to medical billing, customer applications, and account monitoring. Responsibilities: • Accurately process patient billing information and ensure all data is correctly entered into the system. • Utilize Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and EHR System for efficient workflow management. • Ensure accurate administration of medical claims and handle any related inquiries. • Monitor and update customer accounts receivable (AR) regularly. • Handle appeals and rectify any discrepancies in billing functions. • Keep abreast of Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) and Epaces for efficient data handling. • Oversee and manage benefit functions in relation to medical billing. • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records. • Resolve any customer inquiries relating to their accounts or claims. • Undertake additional duties as required in relation to claim administration and billing functions. Requirements • Proficiency in using Allscripts and Cerner Technologies is mandatory • Familiarity with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) is required • Extensive knowledge of EHR SYSTEM is necessary • Experience with Epaces software is expected • Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential • Capability to handle Appeals is a must • Ability to perform Benefit Functions is required • Proficiency in conducting Billing Functions is necessary • Experience in Claim Administration is essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
