Description A Medical Billing Supervisor is needed to play a crucial role in healthcare institutions in Arcadia. The Medical Billing Supervisor will play a hands on role in the billing department, ensuring that all billing and coding processes comply with laws and regulations. The following duties include: + Overseeing daily billing department functions, including medical coding, charge entry, claims submission, and payment posting. + Reviewing and resolving medical billing and coding issues. + Managing the staff of the billing department, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. + Ensuring the billing department operates with efficiency and accuracy. + Auditing medical records to ensure proper billing and reduce occurrences of insurance payment denials. + Working closely with healthcare providers, medical office managers, insurance companies, patients, and other staff to address inquiries and problems. + Keeping up-to-date with changes in medical coding and billing trends, rules, regulations, and guidelines. + Preparing and presenting reports on billing operations to hospital management.
