Job Title: Medical Capability Requirement Manager
Location: Hurlburt Field, FL
Canvas is seeking a medical capability requirement manager in Hurlburt Field, FL. You will assist with identifying linkage between HQ AFSOC/SG modernization programs and strategic guidance and vision documents, Combatant Commanders (COCOM) Integrated Priority Lists (IPL), Annual Planning and Programming Guidance (APPG), Medical Planning and Programming Guidance (MPPG), Defense Health Agency (DHA) strategic planning documents and other guidance. Assist with building requirements documents required to support Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and Surgeon General's Requirements for Operational Capabilities Council (SGROC) requirements. Document shall include, but not be limited to, Study Plans, Initial Capability Documents (ICD), Capability Development Documents (CDD), and CDD updates. Provide expertise to AFSOC/SG requirement development and validation efforts such as integrated product teams (IPT), high performance teams (HPT), and medical requirements "deep dive" activities.
Required Experience & Skills:
+ Have recent (within the last two years) experience and knowledge in project/program management to include document development, schedule, cost and acquisition requirements and have the ability to clearly communicate status of tasks with both operational medical teams and leadership through both written and verbal means.
Desired Experience
+ At least two years of experience with the JCIDS construct is preferred, including milestones, the purpose, knowledge, and experience required to develop related documents such as, but not limited to, Capabilities Based Assessment (CBA), Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), and Capabilities Development Document (CDD).
+ Recent (within the last six years) experience and knowledge of the AFSOC medical readiness operations and processes is preferred.
Education Requirement
+ Minimum of an associate degree, preferably related to writing, business management, or healthcare, or 6 years' experience with the defense requirements process.
+ Recent (within the last six years) experience and knowledge of the AFSOC medical readiness operations and processes is preferred.
Required Security Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain secret clearance.
