We are looking for a skilled Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to join our STARS team!
Position Details: This position will work a Monday - Friday schedule with hours that can vary between 5:00AM and 6:00PM. The location for this position is 999 Curtis Road, on the main campus for Saint Alphonsus in Boise!
This position focuses on converting a medical procedure, diagnosis, or symptom into specific codes to claims for reimbursement. These claims will be specific to therapy services from our STARS specialty clinics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Twelve months' experience in medical coding or working with patient billing and receivables.
Intermediate computer skills with an emphasis on Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office programs.
Must be able to utilize calculator, phones, fax machine and copier. Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
Hold certification (or ability to obtain within one year) through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
