**Job Description**
**About the role:**
The Medical Communications & Scientific Publications, Manager is responsible for managing and executing publication operations for various media formats. This role ensures the quality and compliance of scientific and medical documents, aligning publication initiatives with organizational goals.
You will report to the Group Lead, Mature Brands
How you will contribute:
+ Manage large projects or processes with limited oversight
+ Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals
+ Plan and execute publication initiatives to align with organizational goals
+ Coordinate with external vendors, sales, and editorial teams
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies
+ Conduct rigorous scientific research to support publication content
+ Manage budgets effectively, ensuring efficient resource allocation Skills and qualifications:
+ Lead project management efforts in complex scenarios, overseeing timelines and deliverables
+ Crafts and manages detailed scientific and medical documents * Strategically plans and executes publication initiatives to align with organizational goals
+ Directs cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring adherence to industry standards
+ Conducts rigorous scientific research to support publication content
+ Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies
+ Manages budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently for maximum impact As an experienced professional, you specialize in solving various complex problems, sometimes referring to established precedents and policies. Your work involves analyzing diverse data and selecting appropriate methods for solutions, while networking with senior professionals in your field. You possess a complete understanding of principles, concepts, and industry practices, exerting some influence on organizational objectives. You often work independently under general direction, occasionally leading small project teams, and may represent the organization in contractual or project matters, interacting with senior internal and external personnel. You might also participate in training junior staff.
**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications**
+ Advanced degree (i.e., MPH, MS, PhD, MD or PharmD) in a biosciences discipline preferred
+ 2+ years experience in the bio/pharmaceutical industry, preferably within a matrix structure with a roles (e.g. Medical Scientific Liaison, Medical Information, Medical Communications, Medical/Scientific Communications agency, Medical Education, Publications). Minimum of 4 years experience in the bio/pharmaceutical industry for candidates with a master’s degree.
+ Some experience in Medical Communication planning and execution, or translatable skills
+ Experience interacting with agencies
+ Familiarity with international regulatory and legal guidelines regarding Medical Communication strategies and execution is an asset

**U.S. Base Salary Range:**
108,500.00 - 170,500.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
