LabCorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team in Fort Myers, FL.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00pm – 06:00am
This is a unique role that will split duties between the Courier and Specimen Processing departments in the Fort Myers Branch. Will begin the shift at 10pm as a Specimen Accessioner, assisting lab accessioners with 2nd half workloads. Then at 1230am begin the Tampa Shipment preparation. Expediting, and 1st stage shipping tracking with a nightly target shipment time of 0130am. Delivery of specimens to Tampa, unloading/tracking at destination, then return to end the 8-hour shift.

Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. In addition, for only $100 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use. . If you choose to use the company vehicle for personal use all gas, tolls, and maintenance are covered by the company.
Driver/Courier Responsibilities:
Fort Myers Branch to Tampa Main Lab Shipment Delivery (4 Hour Round Trip)Accessioning (see below), Shipment Setup, Specimen Expediting, Boxing, and Label Tracking for ShipmentHandle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient mannerSafely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic lawsUtilize handheld electronic device to manage Shipment records.Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as neededSpecimen Processor Responsibilities:
Verify patient demographic information matches the test requisition form submittedData entry of patient information into the computer system for tracking purposesOrganized separation of processed specimens for efficient expediting.Meet key production metrics and quality measures to ensure timely and accurate resultsRequirements
