Clinical Technician (Clintech) - Lansing Location
Company Overview: We are a full-service home medical equipment company offering a wide range of products including sleep therapy supplies, bed lifts, seat lift chairs, bath aids, CPAP machines, ventilators, and breast pumps. Our Lansing location is seeking a dedicated Clinical Technician (Clintech) to support our Respiratory Therapists in equipment setup at hospitals and assisted living facilities.
Job Description: As a Clinical Technician, you will:
+ Work with Respiratory Department Staff and Program Managers to provide instruction, service, and troubleshooting techniques for respiratory equipment to patients.
+ Educate and teach patients and caregivers how to use and care for respiratory equipment.
+ Set up equipment, explain its use to patients, and discuss financial responsibilities.
+ Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery tickets, safety checklists, patient booklet receipts, and equipment-specific instruction/cleaning forms.
+ Handle equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, Oxygen, and Nebulizers.
Additional Responsibilities:
+ When not on location with patients, you will double as a Customer Service Specialist at the store location.
+ Learn and understand the entire front-end process to ensure successful service for our patients.
+ Answer inbound calls, make outbound calls, and handle emails.
+ Obtain, analyze, and verify the accuracy of information received from referrals, create orders, and schedule patients to receive equipment as ordered by their doctor.
+ Process orders, route calls to the appropriate resources, and follow up on customer calls where necessary.
Work Schedule:
+ Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
+ Hands-on training with management for about a month until you are completely on your own.
+ Initially, you will not leave the Lansing location but will be trained to eventually enter homes and assist the RT with equipment setup and instructions for patients.
On-Call Potential:
+ There is a potential for on-call work, but it is not actively a part of the role at this time.
+ Employees can sign up for on-call rotations, working remotely during on-call days.
+ On-call work may occur 1-3 times per month, with logged hours paid at the hourly wage and a stipend provided even if no calls are received.

+ Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
+ Ability to learn new technologies and understand the flow of data through systems.
+ Work well independently and as part of a team.
+ Adaptable and flexible in a rapidly changing environment.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ One year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center, or management.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
