Job Title: Medical Device Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the manufacturing of medical devices, specifically focusing on catheter assembly under a microscope. This role requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Good Documentation Practices, and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure the highest quality product.

ResponsibilitiesFollow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, product handling methods, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements.Successfully complete training on production tasks and understand travelers/routers, material identification, microscope usage, and production/inspection tools and equipment.Operate tools and equipment, and complete documentation as required.Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks.Work directly with Engineers/Supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality.Collaborate with Engineers to develop process documentation.Perform inventory counts.Complete other duties as assigned and follow verbal instructions regarding tasks to be performed.Essential SkillsProficiency in microscope assembly and inspection.Experience with catheter assembly and medical devices.Strong communication skills.Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Line Clearance.Experience working with adhesives such as different Loctite types.Familiarity with EFD dispensers and UV curing systems.Experience in cleanroom and production environments.Hands-on experience in manufacturing, production, or prototyping.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 3-5 years of medical device assembly and production or small electronics experience.Prior experience in manufacturing catheter products is a plus.Ability to use required safety equipment when performing lab work.Prior experience with microscope and medical assembly.Previous cleanroom experience.Ability to perform in-process inspections to assure workmanship and quality of in-process medical devices.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position offers openings on 2nd shift (2:40pm-11:10pm) . Work in a cleanroom environment ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
