Medical Device Assembler
**Job Title: Assembler** **Pay Rate: $22/hr.-$26.50/hr.** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in the medical device industry, specifically working with catheter assembly. This role involves using small hand tools such as tweezers and razors, and requires adherence to all quality policies and systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with small parts under a microscope and be able to rotate to other stations as necessary. Responsibilities include working on catheter and packaging lines, maintaining accurate records, and following GMP/GDP policies. **Responsibilities** + Assemble medical devices, specifically catheters, using small hand tools. + Adhere to all quality policies and systems. + Maintain accurate records, including Lot History Records (LHR). + Process small parts under a microscope. + Flex and rotate to other stations as necessary. + Follow and adhere to 5S principles and goals. + Cut and trim catheters on the catheter line. + Operate balloon blowing machines for balloon catheters. + Work with plastic tubing and guidewires/sheath to align and layer under the microscope. + Perform UV curing and use the hot box. + Work with ovens and fridges to make hydrogel on the packaging line. + Package catheters in plastic packaging and add hydrogel. **Essential Skills** + Experience in assembly, microscope work, and using hand tools. + Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. + Knowledge of GMP and GDP policies. + Experience working in a cleanroom environment. + Good hand-eye coordination. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the FDA if necessary. + Demonstrates reading, writing, and math & inventory control skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in medical device assembly or packaging, particularly with catheters. + Positive attitude and eagerness to work in the medical device space. + Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with experience from companies like Amazon, UPS, or FedEx being beneficial. + Good verbal and written communication skills. **Why Work Here?** This is a great entry-level opportunity in the medical device industry, working with catheters. The swing shift hours are from 2:30 PM/2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with a pay differential for these hours. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Clara, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.50/hr.
