**Job Title: Production Operator**
**Location: Liberty, SC**
**Job Description**
This is position responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Working under close supervision, you will perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies. Routine assignments will be conducted according to specified and/or standardized procedures, and work will be closely and continually reviewed
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform routine assignments according to specified and standardized procedures with work being closely and continually reviewed.
+ Ensure that job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date.
+ Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions clearly to all levels of manufacturing management in both written and oral forms.
+ Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers, such as during tours.
+ Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices during all operations.
+ Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes and achieve quality and profitability metrics.
+ Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are correct, all parts are traceable, and quality issues can be addressed to assure product quality.
+ Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
+ Work with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager to set and monitor individual goals and cell performance metrics to improve quality of operations.
+ Support all divisional initiatives as identified by divisional management, including Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.

+ Utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
+ Prioritize work by sequencing and timing different jobs based on precedence and importance.
+ Handle and maneuver small components and parts.
+ Make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED required.

**Work Environment**
The work environment involves the production of capacitors for ICDs (implantable cardioverter defibrillators) across four manufacturing departments: Etch, Formation, Assembly, and Final Test.
The site operates on a Monday-Thursday schedule from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm and a weekend day shift from Friday-Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, working 36 hours and being paid for 40 hours. There is also a Monday-Thursday 5:30pm-3:00am schedule available. The facility follows strict safety guidelines and lean manufacturing principles.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty, South Carolina.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $15.25 - $16.78/hr.
