Medical Director

VCA Smoky Hill Animal Hospital in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a highly experienced Veterinarian to lead our team as Medical Director.

This is an outstanding opportunity to continue practicing medicine while establishing the direction and medical quality of the hospital like an owner would, but without the risks of ownership. Plus, you'll have the solid backing of experts in Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, and more, to help you succeed.

VCA Smoky Hill Animal Hospital is a 4 doctor general practice conveniently located near Cherry Creek State Park and just outside of Denver. We are in a prime location that allows for easy access to surrounding mountainous adventures and/or a city lifestyle. We currently focus on dogs and cats, but are very open to expanding to exotics or pocket pets should the ideal candidate show interest or have experience. Our services include wellness, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, in-house labs and pharmacy, cold laser therapy, ultrasound, and more!

Becoming a part of our VCA Smoky Hill team would mean you are joining a group of the most supportive and fun individuals; most of which have been a part of this team for many years! We have frequent team building activities to forget the stress of the day to day, while coming back together to get the job done. We go out of our way to make you a part of our group while ensuring you can still be with your own family. Mental health and work-life-balance is extremely important to us and we do our best to ensure you can have a life inside and outside of work. We encourage our team to grow and develop their skill, as well as allow them to further their education. You’ve worked hard to get where you are and we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in.
