The Post Acute Services Medical Director supports operations and direction of the Care Coordination, Clinical Documentation, and Utilization Management programs at AnMed Health. The Medical Director ensures the program and associated physicians work collaboratively with and provide consultation to the leadership and staff who perform the functions of Utilization Management (UM), Case Management (CM), Transition Planning/Discharge Planning, and Clinical Documentation (the "Programs').

Qualifications: Physician with a current SC licensure. Boarded as a Fellow or Diplomat by accrediting body of practice preferred. Minimum of five (5) years post residency medical practice experience with hospital, mandaged care or long term care experience preferred. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, problem solving skills, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently as a collaborative team member. Leadership roles/experience preferred. Experience in utilization management of case management preferred.
