Job DescriptionThis position is expected to devote approximately 25% time served as the Executive Physician to the employed groupApproximately 75% of time is devoted to providing direct patient care in an ambulatory settingDefine, plan, develop, implement, and oversee clinical programs and systems to guide and attain the goals of UM Shore Regional Medical Center and University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS)Serves as a dyad partner with Director of Operations with focus on practitioner relations and performance.Shares in the responsibilities for leading providers in achieving UM SRMC  practice goalsEstablishes clinical practices and performance standards in collaboration with Director of Operations and UM SRMC CMO.Lead the vision and evolution of the company’s clinical and digital care management offerings as the clinical subject matter expertUtilizing market data, consumer research, and patient analytics, spearhead new approaches to effective clinical delivery services, including the introduction of new technology and integrated pathsProvide physician leadership in the creation of comprehensive research packages, investigating specific clinical areas/offerings and strategic partners of interest to strengthen the offering. Then, execute on cultivating any external partnerships and/or vendor relationships as necessaryCreate and expand client relationships by partnering with the Growth team to uncover client pain points and deliver solutionsParticipate in the strategic planning for UM SRMC clinical and digital care management strategyProvide strategic guidance of utilization management and medical policy programs/areas as necessary to support the clinical organizationMonitor performance of launched clinical programs and support continuous improvement

 

Office Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday

Call is 5 pm-8 am weekdays and 8 am-8 am on weekends for telephonic questions/consults only. Outside vendor reads any studies during off hours.

UM Shore Regional Health and Shore Medical Group is seeking a full-time Radiologist to lead a well-established Radiology group in Easton, MD. Looking for an individual with a desire to develop and utilize management and leadership skills and possess a good blend of experience in Radiology.

Qualifications

 

Completed US-based residency program in Diagnostic Imaging, RadiologyBoard certification as an MD or DO with a current unrestricted state license to practice medicine5+ years clinical practice beyond residency/fellowship5+ years experience in managed care MBA or advanced degree in healthcare-related discipline preferredExperience serving as the lead thinker / consulting partner, designing innovative clinical programs and interventions driving value for payers and their membersSuccess in building credibility, influence and partnership with key clientsExecutive presence and ability to communicate effectively with partners / clientsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with highly cross-functional teammates and influence internal partner groupsMust be a team player with a positive attitudeStrong communication and team management / interpersonal skillsStrong leadership capabilities and ability to initiate and maintain cross-team relationshipsAdditional Information
