In this position, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of company operations and sales in an assigned area for multiple locations. Leadership monitoring financials, staffing, regulatory compliance, policy and procedure implementation. Area Managers exercise management principles to ensure profitability, control assets and communicate company philosophy and objectives to the staff and community. This position will cover 4-5 locations. Austin, San Antonio, Del Rio and Uvalde TX. Travel between the locations will be required. Can live near any of these locations. Ensures achievement of A/R objectives are met for the area Ensures Area Manager checklist is implemented at each location on an annual basis Ensures project deadlines and performance standards are met Ensures that all facets of the area are adhering to policies and procedures Ensures that area complies with operational procedures, regulatory compliance, and JCAHO regulations Evaluates Location Managers (LCM) for accountability, performance, and productivity Executes budgets within the Area and locations Hires subordinate staff and ensures they are completed all set objectives Monitors staffing levels, expenses, equipment utilization, and inventory to ensure maximum performance Provides a safe working environment for all employees in compliance with all federal, state and local laws including: DOT, FDA, EEOC, OSHA and other agencies Responsible for the supervision of the Locations Managers within the Area Understands and implements medical regulations and guidelines for reimbursement Works closely with Regional Manager and Division Vice President to implement protocols, programs, and tools to increase performance Performs other duties as assigned Travel Travel up to 70% of the time Must reside within 75 miles of one of the locations supported and maintain an office within the Area as agreed upon with Division level management for non-travel days Qualifications Employment is contingent on Background investigation (company-wide) Drug screen (when applicable for the position) Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position) Required Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent, required Education or experience equivalent to a 4-year college degree Three years related experience, required Previous supervisory experience, required Preferred Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree, preferred Skills and Competencies Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual) Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information Multi-task along with attention to detail Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills Work independently and as part of a team Machines, Equipment and Technical Abilities Email transmission and communication Internet navigation and research Microsoft applications; Outlook, Word and Excel Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer and/or tablet Physical Demands Lifting may be required at times Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork Rotech Information Benefits 401k Medical, Dental and Vision Life Insurance and Disability Generous Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Overtime Pay for Non-Exempt Hourly positions Employee Discount Program Employee Recognition Program Bonus and Incentive Opportunities Mileage reimbursement (when applicable for the position) Telephone reimbursement (when applicable for the position) Make the Right Move and Submit your Resume Today!
