Medical Equipment Transporter Salary Rate: $14.50/hr.  Location: Houston, TX (Close to Medical Center)Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.Employment Type: Temporary We are looking for a skilled Medical Equipment Transporter who will transport case carts from ASC to storage unit and support clinical services.  Under the guidance/oversight, the Medical Equipment Transporter will be responsible for performing clerical duties with supporting ASC department.  What you will be doing:Assist the ASC department with transportation of case carts from the ASC floor to storage trailer located outside. Delivering case carts that contain dirty/clean instruments, so Blood Borne Pathogen training is required.Will on average complete 30+ runs daily for the ASC department.    What is Required:Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Two (2) years of experience in working in a clinic or hospital setting. Basic mathematical and communication skills. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds and remain on feet for 80% of work time. Must be able to push/pull 100 lbs. Benefits and Perks:Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with no weekends to offer a good work/life balance.During employment with Team1Medical Staffing, you can enroll in our benefits program, including medical         (3 plans to choose from), dental, disability, critical illness, life, vision, accident, and behavioral health insurance.
