JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for greeting and checking patients in and out of clinic, via in-person or on the phone.  Schedules patient appointments, takes client payment information, filing and other front desk tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains schedules of clinical staff.Entry and verification of client dataCollects copaymentsResponsible for technology support for telehealth appointmentsAnswers multi-line phoneRegistration of clients in the electronic medical recordExcellent Customer Service to promote a service environments for individuals in need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services that is recovery focusedResearch and verification of insurance benefits and knowledge to apply for alternative payer sourcesPrepare and scan documents to internal HIMCross train and perform duties to cover neighboring locations

Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
