Medical Front Office Coordinator

Key Responsibilities: + Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a friendly and professional first impression of the clinic. + Manage front office operations, including patient check-ins, check-outs, and scheduling appointments. + Verify and update patient information in the electronic medical records (EMR) system. + Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate team members as needed. + Process insurance verifications and collect co-pays/payments efficiently. + Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and faxing while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. + Act as a liaison between patients, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure smooth communication and patient care. Requirements Qualifications and Requirements: + Proficiency in medical terminology is required. + Experience with medical EMR software preferred; familiarity with systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar is highly valued. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional phone and in-person demeanor. + Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. + Previous experience in a medical front office, customer service, or administrative role is a plus. + High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in a medical or administrative field is preferred.
