This position has the responsibility of reporting incidents, patient and/or employee issues, work related accidents, and any other unusual events to the Director of Physicians Services. Manager ensures staffing requirements are met in the areas of supervision.
Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.Ensures maximum employee and departmental performance by conducting on-going analysis and providing appropriate training and developmental opportunities.Review a variety of reports on a daily basis to ensure staff are productive and to ensure any problems are resolved quicklyManages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.Monitors regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.Helps develop, maintain, and adhere to the annual departmental budget.Prepare departmental schedule to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times while remaining within budget guidelines.Provides validation, reviews, audits, documentation and training for the area of knowledge, sharing information with finance, medial records and other revenue producing area or departments.Supports special projects and business analysis as requested.Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.Maintains own professional growth through appropriate organizations, workshops, seminars and other self-directed educationEnsures timely and complete billing and collections by monitoring and developing the subordinate staff to provide the highest level of service and performance, and maintains on-going positive communications with patient, staff, physicians, and other third parties to provide information or resolve issuesTo perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.Every effort has been made to make this job description as complete as possible.
