We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Technician to join their growing team on 3rd shift!_** **Location:** Austin, TX 78701 **Schedule:** 4/10 *3rd shift schedule **Pay:** $29-$37/hr DOE **_Job Description:_** Perform routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease within a clinical setting. **_Responsibilities:_** + Set up, adjust, maintain and troubleshoot medical laboratory instrumentation. + Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices. + Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls. + Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care + Obtain specimens, cultivating, isolating and identifying microorganisms for analysis. **_Qualifications:_** + Bachelors Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or science based field. + 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience is required. + Blood Bank experience is preferred + Generalist experience is required + ASCP or AMT preferred but NOT required This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
