As the Medical Lab Scientist, you will be responsible for planning, designing, conducting, and coordinating epidemiological investigations of diseases and bioterrorism-related activities among other duties the Epidemiologist Manager or Supervisor will assign to you. If you have experience working as an Medical Lab Scientist and want to excel in your career, submit your application today to see what opportunities are open for you! Medical Lab Scientist’s ResponsibilitiesReviews, interprets, and completes quality control procedures and technical troubleshooting.Performs weekly preventative maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment.Accessions samples for in-house testing and referral laboratory testing.Helps secure media and supplies for research studies and manages trial supply requests.Secures media and supplies for clinical testing and research studies and manages supply requests.Assists in the review and revision of laboratory policies and procedures and in the preparation for laboratory inspections by various regulatory/accrediting agencies. Medical Lab Scientist’s QualificationsBachelor’s degree in related field required.
