We are seeking a Medical Lab Technician to join their growing team!_ **Pay** : $25-$30/hr. **Shift** : 2nd Shift, M-F, 3:00pm-11:30pm **Responsibilities:** + Assess specimen acceptability for testing based on established criteria + Perform routine and advanced technical procedures following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) + Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot lab instruments to ensure accurate functionality + Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving as needed + Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents and controls + Report test results accurately and promptly to support quality patient care + Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control checks + Manage and replenish supplies for the testing bench + Assist with specimen processing as necessary + Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, or equivalent per local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements + Preferred: 1-2 years of clinical lab testing experience + Certification (ASCP or AMT) is a plus + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting + Computer proficiency, strong attention to detail, and effective communication and organizational skills + Ability to pass a standardized color vision test + Flexibility to work overtime or alternative shifts as needed INDBH \#LI-DNP We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
