Submit your resume today to see what opportunities are open to enhancing your skills! Medical Lab Tech’s Responsibilities Performs testing, prepares reagents, and performs/documents quality control and preventive maintenance according to standard operating procedures and completes results in a timely manner. Updates results from workstation computer to Laboratory Information system; enters and verifies manual results and quarantines units as required.Performs special tasks as assigned by supervisor including review of quality control documents and validation of SOPs; participates in quality control and quality assurance activities within the department.Follows safety procedures including proper use of personal protective equipment, appropriate use of engineering controls, and performance of safe work practices as stated in the safety manual.Clean and restocks work area at the end of the shift and informs supervisor when supply levels are low.Communicates with internal and external customers and responds to client concerns in a timely and professional manner. Medical Lab Tech’s QualificationsMLT (ASCP) with 3 plus years clinical laboratory testing experience; ORMLS (ASCP) with Bachelor’s Degree with a science (Biology or Chemistry) major which meets the CLIA amendment for science hours required to perform moderate and high complexity testing with laboratory experience.  Company Culture & PerksWork Schedule: Tues to Sat or Friday to Monday, 2pm to 10pmThe building is located near NRG Stadium and is surrounded by various restaurants to enjoy during lunchtime. Opportunity to work with a non-profit organization that helps enhance the community’s health awarenessDuring your employment with Team1Medical Staffing, you can enroll in our benefits program, including medical (3 plans to choose from), dental, disability, critical illness, life, vision, accident, and behavioral health insurance.
