Brings any questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of hospital administrative staff. Takes appropriate action on concerns reported by department staff related to compliance. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements** Identify items that are minimally required to perform the essential functions of this position. **Preferred or Specialized** Not required to perform the essential functions of the position. **Education:** Associate degree in a science-related field with a certificate of completion from a Medical Laboratory Technician program from an accredited institution. **Experience:** Less than one year Six months clinical internship **License(s)/Certification(s):** Certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent. May be hired into this position if he/she has completed the requirements for registration but has not successfully completed the MLT exam; however, the exam must be successfully completed within 6 months subsequent to hiring. **Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:** Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.
