Part-Time/Night Shift

The Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist Journeyman is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of high complexity laboratory test results with minimal supervision. MT/CLS JRN personnel are capable of performing pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, and instrument maintenance and problem resolution. They often work with acute-care and outpatient caregivers, along with other Laboratory Services staff in performing their duties.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a NAACLS accredited MLS program.      Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences. Or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists Or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysis Or Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Upon hire: National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Upon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government Or Upon hire: Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Medical Technologist 

Preferred qualifications:

3 years of Clinical laboratory experience in a moderate and high complexity laboratory.
