Medical Laboratory Scientist
Overview

Work in the heart of #humankindess at CHI Lisbon Health. 

Working as a Med Tech at our Critical Access Hospital, you'll perform a wide range of technical procedures analyzing blood and various body fluids in order to expedite the physician’s diagnosis and treatment of patients. You'll assist with quality audits in accordance with accrediting agencies.

Technical duties will include routine patient testing and preparation of blood components for transfusion.

Responsibilities
Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids, including blood, urine, or spinal, to determine presence of normal or abnormal componentsCollect biological specimens from patientsOperate, calibrate, and maintain equipment used in quantitative or qualitative analysisEnter data from analysis of medical tests or clinical results into computer for storage
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA.MLS (ASCP) or equivalent: Med Tech (Medical Tech), Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS), Medical Lab Scientist (MLS). Valid certification by one of the following: ASCP, NCA, AMT. Requires current licensure from the State of North Dakota.
