Position Highlights:

Position: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)Location: Northwest Community HospitalFull Time/Part Time: Part TimeHours: Monday-Friday, 11pm-7:30am, rotating w/e's and holidays

What you will need:

1. Current MT(ASCP) certification or equivalent with a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science.

2. Knowledge of the principles and procedures of routine and special laboratory tests and the equipment used.

3. Meet requirements to perform high complexity testing as defined by federal licensing guidelines (CLIA) and accrediting agencies (TJC, CAP).
 
4. The interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with physicians and hospital staff.

5. The organizational skills necessary to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and complete work efficiently.

6. The ability to work independently without supervision.

7. The ability to adhere to precise procedures and standards with a high degree of accuracy in observing, recording, and transmitting data.
