Job Summary + The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties. + Utilizes scientific principles as well as technical, procedural, and problem-solving aptitudes for day to day laboratory technical operations, quality control, quality assurance, procedure/instrument maintenance and corrective action, test result correlation and clinical laboratory related continuing education. Education and/or Experience + Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field required from an accredited college or university. + Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter. Work Schedule + Day shift: Monday - Friday from 9am - 5:30 pm + Full Time; 72 hours every 2 weeks Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
