Medical Laboratory Technician
Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician Job Description Under direct supervision by laboratory technologist, leader and/or supervisor, and according to defined protocols, you will perform select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens. These procedures may involve manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems. Additionally, you may be required to perform phlebotomy as needed. Responsibilities + Perform select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens according to defined protocols. + Utilize manual techniques or laboratory instruments and information systems for testing. + Perform phlebotomy as needed. + Work under the direct supervision of laboratory technologist, leader, and/or supervisor. Essential Skills + Medical laboratory skills + ASCP certification + MLT certification + Laboratory skills + Medical technology skills + Hematology expertise + Med tech experience + Clinical laboratory skills + Phlebotomy skills Additional Skills & Qualifications + ASCP, MLT, MT certification + Associate or Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory technology or laboratory science + Phlebotomy Certification Work Environment This position is in person, onsite. The work schedule is the midnight shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
