In conjunction with the medical technologists, performs test analysis on patient specimens including blood, urine, culture samples and other body fluids.  Performs test analysis on quality control samples, proficiency samples and performs equipment maintenance.

Required Qualifications: 

Associate's Degree - in related sciences or Associate's degree with ASCP/ASCPi/AMT Certification as a MLT 6months post hire.   National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire or,  National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire or,  National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire or,  National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire or,  National Laboratory Tech - United States Government upon hire.  All certifications must be maintained throughout duration of employment. Continuing education requirements required to maintain license must be completed.
